Non-fiction books and reference books
are only two of the many types of publications that should be indexed. Indexing
adds value to any book, since it provides the reader with a "map" of
the content. Studies have shown that a book buyer is more willing to purchase a
reference book that is indexed than one that is not.
Indexing is time-consuming and requires careful
planning. Ideally, indexing should be done as the manuscript is typed; however,
the process can be applied to electronic files, as well.
We can provide a simple, expanded, or very detailed
index.
