MANUSCRIPT REQUIREMENTS FOR PUBLICATION
PLEASE NOTE: With the exception of authors who use optional editing services, manuscript files will be printed exactly as they are submitted. Pay close attention to the specifications below to avoid disappointment or additional charges for corrections. Be sure spell check your document carefully before submitting. If you need typing services , please select the "Typing" button from the main menu.

Electronic files only. Preferred format is Microsoft Word saved as RTF (Rich Text Format). Files prepared in other word processing programs will require conversion for a set fee (see Pricing).

Manuscript should be single-spaced at 8-1/2 x 11 size document with 1-inch margins all around.

Use 12-pt Times New Roman or Courier.

Do not include headers or footers; page numbers are acceptable.

Do not use the tab key to indent the first line of a paragraph.

Use 2 carriage returns after a paragraph (e.g., leave white space between paragraphs).

If you want chapters to begin on a new page, use a manual page break.

Do not apply any styles to the document. You may use bold or italics where you want them, but leave the style formatting to us. Do not use the space or tab key to center text or titles.

Do not use superscript ordinal numbers (1st, 3rd); type as follows: 1st, 3rd)

Do not copy information or links from a webpage and paste it into the document. Type the information directly into your manuscript.

Fiction manuscripts must be one continuous file , and include: the title page, acknowledgments, dedication, and author bio of no more than 250 words.

Non-fiction manuscripts should be submitted as individual chapters , including title page, acknowledgments, dedication, table of contents, and author bio of no more than 250 words.
COVER REQUIREMENTS FOR PUBLICATION

1. Author photo in full color, scanned or photographed at 300 dpi, and saved as a JPEG file.

2. Maximum 400 words for back cover text. Can include book content blurb, reviews (including citation for reviewer), or promotion of previous titles.

3. Brief description of what the book is about to give our graphics department ideas for designs. If you have an idea, please feel free to include it.
